Earth @K44 Known as "K44," Earth Refugee's headquarters in Athens serves as a workspace for back office services, proposal writing and program planning, a public venue for capacity building workshops on humanitarian standards, environmental awareness, cultural sensitivity and crisis management, a site for integrative social events bringing together refugees, aid workers and Greek locals, and a coordination point for preparation of humanitarian aid. K44 is also the location from which Earth Refugee coordinates its volunteer program, which, since June 2016, has yielded over 10,000 hours of labor donated by 450 volunteers from 41 countries. Starting in 2016, Organization Earth opened K44 as a coworking space for other organizations and offered technical support to facilitate workshops, lectures, presentations, performances, exhibitions, and cookouts.
