Kokkalis Foundation sponsors ASKI- Contemporary Social History Archives (ASKI)

Kokkalis Foundation sponsors ASKI- Contemporary Social History Archives, in its research program for the creation of a study guide, on the history of the repatriation of political refugees of the Greek Civil War. Specifically, the Foundation will sponsor the creation of the digital research guide on the repatriation of political refugees of the Greek Civil War and the event that will be held upon its completion, in the near future.

The above project has a dual objective: on the one hand, to highlight the valuable archival collections of ASKI, which hold the most important archive on the history of political and social movements in 20th-century Greece, so that they can be more widely accessible, and on the other hand, to create a dynamic digital Research Guide with documents, clarifications and sources. This way the project paves the way for research, memories and collective consciousness around a crucial page in modern Greek history.
