On the occasion of UNESCO’s 60th anniversary, the Kokkalis Foundation sponsored the Third Festival "Woman Creators of the Two Seas: the Mediterranean and the Black Sea" organized by the UNESCO Center for Women and peace in the Balkan Countries. Held in Thessaloniki on August 28 - September 4, 2006, the festival gathered women artists from the 30 countries of the region that shared their diverse and rich artistic creations and engaged in inter-cultural dialogue.
