Queen Rania Scholarship Program at the Athens Information Technology Center


Her Majesty Queen Rania of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan inaugurated the Scholarship Program during her visit to Athens on December 21, 2005.

The Athens Information Technology Center of Excellence is proud to announce the Queen Rania Scholarship Program for Jordanian students of high merit that includes:

  1. Two full tuition scholarships for each of our Master’s Programs: Master in Information Networking (jointly offered with Carnegie Mellon University); Master in Information and Telecommunication Technologies; Master in Management of Business, Innovation and Technology.

  2. Four full tuition Scholarships for Executive Training Programs in Leadership and Innovation that are conducted in Athens twice annually at AIT in cooperation with the Kennedy School of Government of Harvard University.

  3. Four full tuition scholarship for the AIT Summer School on Technology Management and Innovation.

AIT is the leading private, not-for-profit, International Technology School in Greece and a regional hub, covering Southeastern Europe and the East Mediterranean for Carnegie Mellon University and Harvard University’s Kennedy School of Government. Founded in 2002 and fully funded by the INTRACOM Group, a leading technology manufacturer and integrator, the AIT today has 60 graduates and a current graduate student body exceeding 120 students from 20 countries. More than 200 young leaders participate at AIT executive training programs every year. The AIT also sponsors specialized executive training courses in collaboration with Harvard University such as “Leadership in an era of transition” for Palestinian leaders that took place in Athens in August 2005.
