As part of the Foundation's activities, and in particular in supporting innovation actions, the Kokkalis Foundation participates in a program of support to operational groups, to help promote innovation in the agri-food sector, the environment and climate change.

Specifically, the Rural Development Program  for the period 2014-2020, which includes Measure 16, as well Sub-Measures on the "Establishment and Functioning of the Operational Teams on Productivity and Sustainability of Agriculture" and "Cooperation on environmental projects, environmental practices and actions on climate change ", dealing with the "exploitation of vinification residues for the purposes of bioeconomy”, the development of the "Logistics system for the transport of olive oil to the mill and the development of an "integrated bottled wine digital identity system "respectively, are already in progress.
