Niall Ferguson characterized the Greek crisis as an international financial crisis of the developed countries in the Western world. Further, Ferguson argued that “the Greek bail-out was a bail-out of the German and French banks.”
This year’s five fellowship recipients were chosen from a pool of thirty candidates from nine countries.
